Margaret Riegel Illustration
Margaret creates illustrations using collage, drawing and photography. The process starts with preliminary pencil sketches. With her experienced eye, she then layers images—sometimes existing, sometimes original—to create the finished illustration. The result is an ethereal and clever composition that communicates much more than the sum of its parts. Her award-winning illustrations have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times, Bloomberg Personal, and The Wall Street Journal, among other publications.
